Question:My bottle or jar doesn't look full? Why not?

Answer: I use a scale to fill my bottles and jars by weight not volume so if the product shifts during transit it may appear that your jar or bottle is not full.

Question: If I am unhappy with a product or fragrance can I return it for a refund? 

Answer: Due to the handmade nature of the products we cannot accept returns even if they are unopened. When purchasing an item for the first time I recommend that you choose the smallest size that we offer or order sample sizes before ordering large amounts. Fragrances can vary greatly from supplier to supplier. If you are unsure about whether or not you will like our version of a fragrance please order a sample of the fragrance first.

Question:Can products containing alcohol be formulated without the alcohol? My hair is recovering from damage and I need it to be as nurturing and gentle as possible.

Answer:The alcohol is necessary to bind and stabilize the formula..it is a conditioning alcohol it doesn't damage the hair it actually improves it. It is not really an "alcohol", such as rubbing alcohol, which would dry the skin, but it is actually an emulsifying wax, made by combining fatty alcohols from naturally derived vegetable sources, such as coconut alcohol.

Question:What is the shelf life of your products?

Answer: The shelf life of most of our unopened products is generally 12 months. The exception to this is the Babassu Butter Conditioners(6-9months). Shelf life can be shortened depending on storage conditions. All body and hair care items are properly preserved before they are packaged and shipped. Due to the nature of handmade products ALL SALES ARE FINAL NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN and returns are not accepted. Here are our recommendations to keep the products fresh.

*Store all products in a cool dry area. Do not store products in areas where there is an increased risk for mold and bacteria to grow(example bathrooms or hot sticky areas)

*Keep the jar or bottle clean by wiping off any excess and closing all lids and tops tightly when not in use.  

*Once you open a product use it up within six months. Don't dip your hands or fingers in bottles or jars. Always use sterile items to dispense products. Disposable spoons or cosmetic spatulas are a good choice as long as they have been sterilized. Dipping hands and fingers into the jar increases the risk for bacteria.  

*Do not use any product that you suspect has gone bad or if there is any mold dispose of it immediately. Jasmine's will not be held responsible for damage or injury that result from using spoiled products.  

*Follow the directions for use on all products. Read the labels and don't use products that contain ingredients that you are allergic to. Discontinue use immediately if rash or irritation of any product occurs. Jasmine's will not be held responsible for consumer misuse of our products.

*Jasmine's does not assume responsibility for products that were purchased from other unauthorized vendors. Examples include but are not limited to Online forums, swaps, flea markets or private sales. You purchase these products at your own risk. (Kathy of Naturallycurly.com is the exception. Question:what is the difference in the make up of the body whips and body lotions?

Answer:The Luxurious Body Whip, Moisturizing Body Lotion, and the Shea Smoothie lotions are the same product in different containers. Men like the brown bottles and kids like the smoothie lotion bottles.

Question: Will I receive my product in the same style of bottles and jars that are pictured on the website?

Answer: Packaging is based on availability and subject to change without notice. There may also be a difference in the style of the bottles or jars that you receive based on the size that you order(ex: 4oz jar may differ from 8oz)

Question:When will my order be shipped?

Answer: We package and ship out orders daily Monday through Friday. Orders that are purchased on the weekends and holidays will be processed the following business day and shipped according to the timeline noted on the website under(check what's new,home page, or checkout page for updates)

Question:What shipping services do you use?

Answer: Most orders are sent out United States Postal Service first class mail or priority mail with delivery confirmation. We also use UPS. Insurance is available for you to purchase by request.

Question:I am allergy sensitive and need to know the ingredients

Answer:All ingredients are listed in the description and on the product labels.You can choose to have your item fragrance if you are allergic or sensitive to fragrance. Samples are a good way to try new products.

Question:Can your products be used on children

Answer:Yes.The products are gentle enough for use on children but please note that they are not tear free. Please read all of the ingredients before use to make sure that the child is not allergic to any of them.

Answer:My products are for everyone. My customers are of various ethnic backgrounds and have hair types that range from fine and bone straight to super curly thick and coarse.Please read the product descriptions and choose products that are suited for your hair type.
