Babassu oil is the expeller pressed oils from the kernels of the babassu palm tree from Brazil. Babassu oil holds very similar benefits to coconut oil and is often used as a coconut oil replacer. It's naturally high in lauric acid. Lauric acid is the main acid in coconut oil and in palm kernel oil (not to be confused with palm oil), and is believed to have antimicrobial properties. Babassu butter has soothing, protective and emollient properties. It has the ability of penetrating the hair quickly and will not leave that overly greasy feeling behind.

You can use it after shampooing as a conditioning masque to smooth and soften dry,frizzy hair.

Directions: Apply the conditioner to clean damp hair. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes under a plastic cap. Rinse
